I find it difficult to believe in God when the world is so unfair.

It seems like God only answers the prayers of his favorite people.

Shouldn't everyone have an equal opportunity to be successful?

What is the point of dreaming big and trying hard when the system seems set up for us to fail?

It just feels hopeless to even try.

Since the beginning of time, humans have had a deep desire for justice.

We want everyone to get exactly what they deserve.

There are a lot of things we don’t get to control, but that does not mean we can't have a better life.
And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ—everything in heaven and on earth.
Ephesians 1:10

Justice is his

Jesus told a story of a manager and three workers. Each of them were hired at different points in the day, but the manager paid them all for a full day’s work.

As you would expect, the man who actually worked the whole day was furious.

How could it be fair that those who worked only an hour got paid as much as him?

But the manager reminded him that he was paid what they’d agreed. It was the manager's choice to be generous to the others.

Our perspective is limited, but God knows everyone involved and how everything works together.

Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!
Romans 11:33

Trust his plan

God is constantly working in ways that we will never see or understand. Even when we experience true injustice, because we live in a broken world, he can use it for good.

When we place our trust in God's divine justice, we are free to rest in a peace that nothing and no one else can provide.
